The junior guard averaged 19.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists throughout the 2023-2024 season. After serving in a supporting role in prior seasons, Quinerly became WVU’s best player during Mark Kellogg’s first year leading the Mountaineers.
Quinerly will now take her talents to another NCAA Tournament appearance. This time, Quinerly will guide 8-seed West Virginia in a first round matchup with 9-seed Princeton.
WVU and Princeton will tip off at 5:30 pm ET on Saturday from Albany. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
If West Virginia advances past Princeton, the Mountaineers will be rewarded with a matchup against a player who did make the All-American cut – Caitlin Clark.
Kellogg addressed his viral comments about Clark during his press conference to preview the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday.
