2024 3-Star ATH Jaylen Watson Includes WVU in Top 5

2024 3-star athlete Jaylen Watson has announced his final five schools with a commitment date set for July 8. Watson included Cincinnati, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota and West Virginia.

Watson (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) is from Toledo, Ohio and currently plays at Central Catholic High School. During his recruitment, Watson has received offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Iowa, Liberty, Louisville, Maryland, Miami (OH), Minnesota, Toledo, West Virginia, Western Michigan and others. Watson also received interest from other schools such as Penn State and Pitt.

Watson visited WVU back in January and seemed to enjoy his weekend in Morgantown.

According to 247 Sports, Jaylen Watson is projected to commit to Iowa with a visit set for next weekend.
