West Virginia continues to place its energy in Florida when it comes to recruiting for the 2024 class. This time, the Mountaineers send an offer to a three-star wide receiver.

Zy’marion Lang announced that he received an offer from WVU on Tuesday. Lang lists himself at 6-foot-3 and 170 pounds and attends Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Florida.

He’s considered a top 80 prospect in the state of Florida by 247 Sports and the number 85 wide receiver in the country. Much like it was with the 2023 class, wide receiver is once again a priority for the West Virginia program.

Head coach Neal Brown and his staff had to replace several key receivers for the upcoming season, and did so with transfers, but the constant turnover and eligibility status of those currently on the roster at the the position, makes it a point of emphasis for next year too. The addition of Bilal Marshall as WVU’s new wide receivers coach has helped to fuel the Florida recruiting pipeline.

Lang has also earned recent offers from schools like Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Kansas, Pitt and UCF. Previously, Bowling Green, Indiana, Louisville, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and USF sent offers to Lang.
