WVSN High School Football Player of the Week: Hurricane QB Ismael Borrero

Hurricane High has had some pretty good quarterbacks over the years, but none did what junior Ismael Borrero did on Friday.

After almost a month off from game action due to Putnam County’s status on the state’s school reentry map, Borrero lit up Parkersburg to the tune of seven touchdown passes — a school record — in a 60-36 win.

For his efforts, Borrero has been named the Week 5 WVSN West Virginia High School Football Player of the Week.
