Big 12 basketball has yet to disappoint three weeks into the conference season. The majority of the league is within each other of a couple of games. Let’s take a look at the standings and other metrics within the Big 12.

1. Texas Tech (16-3, 5-1)

T-2. Houston (18-2, 5-2)

T-2. Iowa State (16-4, 5-2)

T-4. Kansas (16-4, 4-3)

T-4. TCU (15-5, 4-3)

On Monday’s release of the latest AP poll, the Big 12 included eight teams in the top 25, with Texas receiving vote points.

Texas Tech controls sole place of first in the conference with first-year HC Grant McCasland. The Red Raiders have defeated Texas, Oklahoma State, K-State, BYU and Oklahoma behind Joe Toussaint and Pop Isaacs.

The Big 12 includes 12-of-14 teams in the top-75 in the NET rankings.
