Big 12 Sends Update Concerning Cincinnati at UCF Game

The Big 12 sent a message to members of the media on Thursday night with an update concerning a conference game scheduled to be played in Florida this weekend.

“After thoroughly evaluating the impact of Hurricane Milton in central Florida and discussions with both Cincinnati and UCF, the Big 12 Conference football game between the two schools will be played as scheduled at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 12 at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando on ESPN2,” read the media release.

Saturday’s game between UCF 3-2 (1-1, Big 12) and Cincinnati 3-2 (1-1, Big 12) will take place as scheduled in Orlando, Fla. despite Hurricane Milton. The Knights will host the Bearcats at 3:30 pm ET at FBC Mortgage Stadium. The game will air on ESPN2.

UCF is also still in the process of finalizing their operations for the day of the game as well as providing hurricane relief efforts.

West Virginia will both teams later in the season, facing UCF at home and traveling to Cincinnati.
