According to multiple reports, another West Virginia wide receiver will get his chance in the NFL as Marcus Simms was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Supplemental Draft.
With Simms being signed, this now makes three receivers on last years squad to have made it at the next level. He joins Gary Jennings of the Seahawks and David Sills V of the Bills.
During his three seasons in Morgantown, Simms hauled in 87 receptions for 1,457 yards and eight touchdowns. He was set up to be the go to man in this year’s offense prior to him leaving the program back in April.
