Eager In-State Star Brad Mossor Embarks on WVU Career | WVU Football All 105

Wasting no time in committing just hours after receiving an offer, in-state product Brad Mossor is fulfilling a lifelong dream as a Mountaineer.

Mossor was named the West Virginia State Player of the Year for 2025 after a strong senior season that saw him dominate in multiple positions. Mosser, who opened the season as a receiver and then moved to running back, recorded 914 yards on the ground as a running back and then made 93 catches for 1,512.

But his yardage isn’t what made him standout. Mossor scored 49 total touchdowns, with 28 as a runner, 14 receiving and then another seven from work on special teams or defense.

Last Year: Mossor played wide receiver, defensive back and returned kicks for coach Nathan Tanner at Princeton High.

Stats: He finished his season with 93 catches, 1,510 yards, 14 touchdowns and had 125 rushes, 939 yards, 28 touchdowns (program single-season record. Mossor also had three punt return touchdowns, one kick return touchdown and two defensive touchdowns.

Accolades, Highlights: Mossor was named the 2025 Kennedy Award Winner – Player of the Year voted on by the state media, the 2025 MetroNews Sports Player of the Year, the 2025 Moss Award Winner – Given to the state’s best wide receiver, the 2025 MaxPreps West Virginia Player of the Year and the 2025 Rivals West Virginia Player of the Year. He helped lead Princeton to a 14-0 record, the AAA State Championship.
