All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

Josh Aisoa, listed at 6-foot-3, 325-pound, is now a redshirt sophomore embarking on his second season as a Mountaineer. A relative newcomer to football, he began his football career as a high school sophomore in 2021, but that didnโ€™t stop him from earning a three-star rating as a recruit, ranking as the No. 52 interior lineman in the country for the class of 2024 per On3.

Aisosa also wrestled in high school, a two-sport combination that could help him on the gridiron because of the focus on techniques regarding body control, grappling and weight transfer.

Although born outside Dallas, Aisosa attended high school in Oklahoma and committed to the Sooners during his initial recruiting process, setting foot on campus as an early enrollee in January 2024. Despite the early start, Aisosa didnโ€™t see the field during his lone season in Norman, then hit the transfer portal following the Soonersโ€™ spring training window. He also took reps at center during that period.

With three more seasons of eligibility remaining, Aisosa still has plenty of time to develop into a starterโ€ฆ and with less than five years of football under his belt in all, his best days on the field might wait ahead.
