Kickoff Time and Broadcast Info Announced for 2020 Home Opener

For the first time in nearly 10 months, the West Virginia Mountaineers will play back at Milan Puskar Stadium next Saturday.
In fact, the Mountaineers and their opponent, Eastern Kentucky, will be the only ones at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday. Without any fans in the stands, the Mountaineers and Colonels will open WVU’s 2020 football season Saturday.
The team announced on Tuesday that WVU’s season opener against Eastern Kentucky will kick off at noon and be broadcast on Fox Sports 1.

WVU has won 16 home openers in a row, last losing in 2003 to then-No. 20 Wisconsin. The Mountaineers defeated James Madison University 20-13 in their home opener last season. WVU won just two of its home games last year.
Saturday will be the first meeting between the Mountaineers and Colonels.
