LB Quondarius Qualls Suffers ACL Injury
The Mountaineers have enjoyed a relatively quiet spring camp thus far – no breaking news, no suspensions, and most importantly, no injuries.
Until now.
Senior linebacker and JUCO transfer Quondarius Qualls has suffered an ACL injury and will miss the remainder of spring camp but is expected to return for his senior campaign this fall.
“He was a guy who was really standing out,” Holgorsen commented. “Then BOOM! There goes another one with a knee.”
Qualls was seeing substantial time at the SAM position alongside fellow JUCO product Charlie Benton.
