Prior to playing in the NBA summer league, former WVU guard Miles “Deuce” McBride has officially signed his rookie deal with the New York Knicks.

“It’s official. I love it,” McBride said. “Now I just go out and play basketball. Do what I do best.”

The details of McBride’s contract have not been released yet.

The Cincinnati native played two seasons at West Virginia, averaging 12.6 points per game, 3.1 rebounds per game and 3.3 assists per game. McBride was drafted in the second round, 36th overall by the Knicks on July 29.
