The final five schools are Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, West Virginia and Wichita State. Pringle considered the offer from WVU, a blessing.
“Receiving an offer from WVU was a blessing man,” he told WV Sports Now.
“The Big 12 is a very skilled, competitive conference and to receive an offer from a top 4-5 team is more than an honor,” Pringle said. “They have a great coaching staff that coached together for years and a legendary head coach, coach Huggins.”
Pringle started his first JUCO season on Monday with Dodge City CC. The 6-foot-10 forward finished with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting, in 21 minutes of play. Pringle pulled down 10 rebounds in the 118-64 victory, in his junior college debut.
