Notre Dame Hires Former WVU Assistant, Rising Star as Analyst

Another member of Neal Brown’s staff at WVU has found salvation at a major program. Former West Virginia assistant Jevaughn Codlin will join Notre Dame as an analyst, according to multiple reports.
Codlin served as an assistant secondary coach at WVU, most notably helping the development of the defensive backs and even also playing a role in Beanie Bishop’s consensus All-American season in 2023.

The loss of Codlin is significant. In addition to his work as a coach, Codlin was a staple in recruiting process and very well liked by players around the country.
He got his start in coaching in 2022 at Emporia State at the Division II level before transitioning a being a grad assistant at West Virginia and then moving up from there.
Codlin will now experience a Notre Dame program coming off a national runner-up finish and an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
