OL Malik Agbo Set to Finally Earn Shot at Starter Role | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.
Malik Agbo transferred to West Virginia ahead of the 2025 season after spending the first three years of his collegiate career with the Texas Longhorns. An offensive lineman who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 275 pounds, Agbo played both guard and tackle during his time in Austin.
As a Mountaineer, Agbo played in every game and even earned one start.
Although he appeared in all 16 of the Longhornsโ games in 2024, Agbo primarily served as a tight end in jumbo sets, adding another big body up front to pave holes in the running game. Because Agbo checked in as the eligible receiver during those plays, the potential remains for the Mountaineers to use him as a trick play target during goal line or short yardage situations.

Projected role: With four years of Power Four experience, it appears 2026 will finally be Agbo’s opportunity to start.
