The ‘Red Panda’ is back!

Rong Niu, otherwise known as Red Panda, will be performing at the WVU Coliseum during halftime at the West Virginia-Baylor game, on Jan. 18. It was announced by the WVU basketball department on Friday afternoon.

The Red Panda is known for balancing on a unicycle while flipping bowls from her feet to the top of her head. Niu has been performing for over 30 years, going to sporting events and appearing on America’s Got Talent. Niu’s last appearance at WVU was in February 2020, when the Mountaineers took on Kansas.

For the same game against Baylor, it is also a gold rush. Fans are encouraged to wear gold.
