As the Pac-12 dies off in 2024, it can make sense for commissioner Brett Yormark and the Big 12 to take advantage of the west coast. The move may start the westward expansion as the Big 12 will welcome Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah to the conference next summer.
Yormark has stated that he’s open to expanding anywhere in the country. The Big 12 took the corner schools once the Pac-12 couldn’t stabilize the conference past this year.
