The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia Football and Basketball.  

Update (5:27 PM)-

2024 DB/WR Brayshon Williams was offered by West Virginia on Tuesday afternoon. Williams is a sophomore from Lakeland, FL, receiving notable offers from Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pitt, USC and others.

Update (5:23 PM)-

2023 WR Elijah Caldwell is the next recruit to receive an offer from West Virginia. Caldwell is from Rock Hill, SC.

Update (5:12 PM)-

West Virignia football extends an offer to 2023 DE Branden Palmer. Palmer is a Cornelius, NC, native, who has received offers from Connecticut, East Carolina, Liberty and others.

Update (12:58 PM)-
**WVU’s new offensive coordinator Graham Harrell extends an offer today to 2024 4-star tight end Jack Larsen from Charlotte Catholic High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Larsen (6’3″, 215) holds offers from Arkansas, Duke, Florida, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, NC State, South Carolina and Virginia Tech. 247 Sports rates Larsen as one of the Top 50 sophomores in the country.

Update (12:50 PM)-
**A big week recruiting in Florida continues for West Virginia as they offer sophomore wide receiver Jamar Taylor, Jr. from Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, Florida. This is the first Power Five offer for Taylor, with his other two coming from South Florida and Rhode Island. Taylor received the offer from Chad Scott.

Update (10:59 AM)-

WVU defensive analyst Jeff Casteel makes a visit to Herbert Hoover High School in Elkview, W.Va. on Tuesday morning.

Update (10:44 AM)- 

**Neal Brown is on the road recruiting today and one of his first stops was to Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland.


Update (10:36 AM)-

**West Virginia DL coach Andrew Jackson visited Long Island Lutheran High School, in New York, on Tuesday.

Update (9:40 AM)- 

**A second freshman receives an offer today from West Virginia, this one goes to Jershuan Newton from Clearwater Central Catholic HS in St. Petersburg, Florida. Newton’s first offer came from Indiana.

Update (9:30 AM)-
**West Virginia football extends an offer to 2023 running back/linebacker Montravius Lloyd from Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. This becomes Lloyd’s second D-1 offer with the other one from Florida State.

Update (9:10 AM)-
**West Virginia football extends an offer to freshman athlete Julius Lane Jr. from Montgomery Catholic Prep School in Montgomery, Alabama. This is the first Power Five offer for Lane, who received it from assistant Chad Scott.
