The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia Football and Basketball. 

Update (4:01 PM)-
**An offer goes out today from West Virginia football, to 2023 3-star wide receiver Chris Culliver from Maiden, North Carolina. Culliver (6’3″, 175) also has received offers from Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State.

Update (1:48 PM)-
**On Thursday, West Virginia extends an offer to 2022 cornerback Elijah Reed from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Louisville, Kentucky. The 6’3″, 185 pound defensive back also holds offers from Kentucky, Illinois, Purdue and Utah. Reed received the offer from assistant ShaDon Brown.

Update (1:05 PM)-
*Another offer from WVU to a freshman from Melbourne, Florida as they offer offensive tackle Chavez Thompson. Earlier, we reported that WVU also offered his teammate freshman wide receiver DL Hardison. This talented lineman also holds offers from Maryland and Kentucky.

Update (12:47 PM)-
**This morning, Chad Scott extends an offer to 2025 wide receiver DL Hardison from Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida. Hardison has also gotten an offer from Virginia.

Update (12:41 PM)-
**West Virginia extends an offer to sophomore defensive end Owen Wafle (6’3″, 255) from The Hun School in Princeton, New Jersey. Wafle received the offer from assistant Sean Reagan and also holds an offer from Rutgers. A few days ago, WVU offered Wafle’s teammate, freshman Kamar Archie.

Update (12:29 PM)-
**Another interesting offer from West Virginia to a 2022 athlete. The WVU staff extends an offer to 2022 athlete Christian Harrison (6’0″, 185) from Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. What makes this offer interesting is that Harrison is currently committed to Liberty University. He gave them a verbal commitment back in July. He also holds offers from Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Kansas State and Marshall. Harrison received the Tennessee offer on Wednesday. Christian is the son of former NFL star defensive back Rodney Harrison.
