Over the weekend top West Virginia 2020 linebacker target Quentin Williams (6’3” 235 lbs) of Mallard Creek HS/Charlotte, NC released his top five schools.

The Mountaineers did make the cut alongside Louisville, Miami, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.

Williams told DubVNation that his teammate and West Virginia incoming freshman offensive lineman Parker Moorer has been recruiting him. “He raves about it. He loves the staff and the facilities. For me, it’s in the Big 12 so that’s major.”

His lead recruiter is defensive line coach Jordan Lesley, “It’s a developing relationship. It will help when I get up there to visit. I haven’t set a date yet, I’ll do that at some point this month. I would like to make a decision in August.” Williams said.

Williams also holds offers from Miami (FL), Virginia, Purdue and others.

Will the additional help of WVU signee Parker Moorer be enough to land the talented linebacker?

Stay tuned to DubVNation for the latest on Williams’ recruitment.
