West Virginia becomes first offer for 2021 athlete

West Virginia head coach Neal Brown and his coaching staff have hit the recruiting trail hard recently and have been the first school to offer many players. This is no different with class of 2021 athlete Sirad Bryant (Cordele, GA). Being the first school to offer a player is important. Developing a relationship with that player early on is also important and this staff has made it a priority to get in early on these recruits.

Bryant told DubVNation, “I was stunned at the time they offered because I didn’t even know they were looking at me.” He also talked about how important it was for West Virginia to be the first offer, “I like the school because they invested in me first and that will stick out to me. They also put a lot of receivers and defensive backs in the league and I feel like I would like the campus.”

Defensive coordinator Vic Koenning visited Bryant’s school earlier in the week and he labeled him as a “strong recruiter”. He also says that he envisions visiting Morgantown sometime in the future.

Stay tuned to DubVNation for the latest on Bryant’s recruitment.
