Virginia CB Receives WVU Offer

This month, Colonial Heights (VA) 2020 defensive back Joseph Johnson visited Morgantown and received an offer from the Mountaineers.

“I’m excited because it’s my first Big 12 [offer] and they were a top-20 team in the nation,” Johnson said. “I really liked the conversations I had with the coaches and the facilities were amazing.”

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Johnson plans on committing to a school sometime between June and August, adding he does have a top list of schools, but is keeping that private for now.

Johnson says “education, relationships with the coaches and playing time” are all important factors in his recruitment.
