West Virginia offers 2020 Arkansas wide receiver commit

Published

With the somewhat recent departures of wide receivers Marcus Simms and Dillon Spalding, the Mountaineers are on the prowl for a few receivers in the 2020 recruiting class. Last week, they offered Arkansas commit Ze’Vian Capers (6’3″ 200 lbs) of Alpharetta, Georgia.

When asked about his thoughts and reactions to the West Virginia offer he responded, “I kind of knew it was coming. (Coach) Xavier Dye knows what I’m capable of from my workouts with Clemson. I have to do more research on West Virginia in terms of its offensive acumen, but with Coach Dye being there the learning curve will be short.”

Capers also noted that Auburn, Florida, Clemson, Georgia Tech and South Carolina are a few schools that stand out to him along with Arkansas. Once he and coach Dye get a visit set up, then we may see West Virginia be included in that list.
