West Virginia running back Lorenzo Dorr has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, Dorr confirmed to WVSN.

Dorr walked-on at WVU ahead of the 2017 season after beginning his college career at West Virginia Wesleyan. As a true freshman in 2016, Dorr played in four games for the Bobcats and had one carry that lost one yard. After that season Dorr came to WVU and redshirted in 2017. Since then Dorr has been a scout team and special teams player. He has had six career rushes for 10 yards as a Mountaineer.

West Virginia’s running back room figures to be deep and talented in 2021. Leading rusher Leddie Brown announced he will return and will be joined by role players Alec Sinkfield, Tony Mathis and A’Varius Sparrow. True freshmen Justin Johnson and Jaylen Anderson will also be joining the Mountaineers.
