WVU Basketball Guard Jasper Floyd to Hit Transfer Portal
Further solidifying a completely new WVU team will take the court in the fall, Jasper Floyd will enter the transfer portal.
Floyd followed Ross Hodge from North Texas to West Virginia ahead of the 2025-26 season.
In his lone season as a Mountaineer, Floyd averaged 7.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists. Before WVU and North Texas, Floyd started his college career at Hillsborough College and then Farfield. He will need a waiver to play for his fifth program.
Floyd becomes the fourth WVU player to enter the transfer portal, joining forward Evans Barning, guard Jayden Forsythe, and forward DJ Thomas.
