Addae, a former standout at WVU during his playing career, will replace Charlton Warren at Georgia — who left the Bulldogs to be the new defensive coordinator at Indiana. WVU led the country in fewest passing yards allowed per game in 2020 at 159.6 and finished No. 24 in the nation in pass efficiency. Georgia, meanwhile, was 88th in the country in passing yards allowed per game and 56th in pass efficiency defense.
