Two weeks out from the event, the WVU football program is ready to reveal who will be joining Rich Rodriguez at Big 12 Media Days.

Making his second-straight trip will be veteran wide receiver Jaden Bray. Offensive lineman Nick Krahe and newcomer defensive back Geimere Latimer will travel to Frisco, Texas for the several-day event as well.

The 2026 Big 12 Media Days kickoff on Wednesday, July 8th and extend until through the next day. It’s unclear which day will be WVU’s, but it’s now known who the media in attendance will have an opportunity to speak with as they prepare for coverage of the 2026 college football season.

Both days of the event will be broadcast live in their entirety on ESPNU and ESPN+, with portions of the day airing on ESPN2. Additionally, the event will broadcast on Big 12 Studios channels from 10:30 am to 3 pm CT.

Jaden Bray

In an upbeat mood after a spring practice, the redshirt senior spoke candidlyabout having his season cut short in each of his first two years at WVU and why he feels 2026 will be different.

โ€œI was frustrated about what had happened, but once I realized it was broken, my mindset really went to what can I do to get back and ready for next season,โ€ said Bray about enduring a season-ending injury at Ohio in 2025, going down in the second game of the season for the second year in a row.

Nick Krahe

As the most veteran member of the offensive line, Nick Krahe, now a redshirt junior, has become an impotent leader for a revamped unit. And after transitioning to tackle last season, Krahe will now embark on another transition โ€“ playing for legendary coach Rick Trickett.

Geimere Latimer

The 5-foot-10, 191-pound Geimere Latimer will now reunite with Rich Rodriguez, who he played under for two years at Jacksonville State. In 27 games under Rodriguez, Latimer posted 56 tackles and picked off four passes.

With only one year remaining, Latimer will now finish his college eligibility in the Big 12 at WVU after spending the 2025 season in the Big Ten with Wisconsin. He made 23 tackles and caused a forced fumble with the Badgers.

Latimer has 79 total tackles across three college seasons to this point.
