WVU Opens as a Slight Early Favorite Against Tennessee in Liberty Bowl

West Virginia opens as a narrow favorite in its scheduled matchup against Tennessee in the Dec. 29 AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

The Mountaineers are favored by 3.5 points, according to BetOnline.ag with the over/under for the game set at 45 points.

WVU went 5-4 overall and 5-4 against the spread this season, with five games going “under” the over/under number.

The Mountaineers and Volunteers are set to clash on Dec. 31 in Memphis, Tennessee. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. with ESPN carrying the broadcast.
