WVU Picks Up Second Transfer on Saturday with Kekoura Tarnue
WVU Football secured its second transfer of the day with Jacksonville State cornerback Kekoura Tarnue. Tarnue announced his commitment on Saturday afternoon.

Tarnue, 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, left Jacksonville State after playing one season for Rich Rodriguez. Tarnue recorded 53 tackles, with two being for loss. Tarnue also had three interceptions during his junior season. The Monrovia, Liberia native previously played at Rochester Community and Technical College in Minnesota. Tarnue played at Coon Rapids High School as well.
Tarnue will be entering his senior season next year.
Tarnue joins BYU transfer QB Ryder Burton as the second transfer commitment of the day for the Mountaineers.
Prior to college, Burton was a three-star recruit out of Springville High School in Springville, Utah. 247 Sports ranked Burton the No. 66 quarterback prospect in his class. He threw for just shy of 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns during his senior season.
