WVU football picked up a commitment from Arkansas transfer offensive lineman Ty’Kieast Crawford, he announced on social media Monday morning.

Crawford (6-foot-5, 324 pounds) is an offensive tackle and has played in 39 career games with nine starts. The native Texan began his career at Charlotte in 2020 where he played six games and made three starts.

Following the 2020 season, Crawford transferred to Arkansas, where he spent the next four years. He appeared in all 13 games as a sophomore in 2021 and then played in 10 games with two starts in 2022. He made four starts across nine games in 2023 before only appearing in a single contest this past season.

Crawford graduated and entered the transfer portal with one year of eligibility on Dec. 9. He took a visit to UCLA in early January and committed to the Bruins shortly after. He announced his flip to WVU on Monday.

Crawford is the fourth offensive lineman to transfer to West Virginia this offseason, joining the likes of Robby Martin from NC State and Walter Young Bear from Tulsa. WVU football lost all of its top offensive linemen from last season with four graduating and Tomas Rimac transferring to Virginia Tech.
