West Virginia basketball is entering a new era with head coach Darian DeVries. DeVries and his team are in Italy for the week during their foreign tour.

BartTorvik projects West Virginia to finish 12-15 (7-13 Big 12). Pitt is the only game so far in the non-conference schedule that West Virginia is an underdog in. Since the Battle 4 Atlantis matchups are not officially set, that’s also not included in the record or game lines.

WVU’s average seed in the NCAA Tournament is 10.3 with a total of 5.7% to reach March Madness in 2025.

West Virginia will open the season against Robert Morris on Nov. 4. WV Sports Now will continue to preview West Virginia basketball as they complete their foreign trip.
