WVU Football DL commit Brandon Caesar

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2025 WVU Football Roster.

Although Brandon Caesar missed his entire senior season due to injury, he still managed to earn a 3-star ranking as a recruit. He pulled in more than two dozen college offers, including from Ohio State and Michigan, who have combined for the last three national championships.

A 6-foot-4, 260 pound recruit, Caesar suited up at defensive end in high school. He also starred as a wrestler, a combination that works well with the demands of playing on either side of the line: for an example, look at WVU Football legend Zach Frazier. Caesar enrolled at West Virginia in January, giving him a head start in preparation for the college game, and put on a show in the Mountaineers’ spring game.

Even if he spends the 2025 season focusing on his development, Caesar’s early results should have Mountaineers fans excited to see what he can do on the field.

Projected role:ย If Brandon Caesar makes it on the field for WVU Football this season, expect rotational snaps at edge rusher or contributions on special teams.

Accolades, highlights:ย A three star recruit out of Ohio’s Cleveland Heights High School, major recruiting platforms like ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports rated Caesar among the top 100 players at his position in the class of 2o25.
