Two weeks after Pat McAfee confirmed rumors and speculation that he’s taking his talents to ESPN, the details about the exact parameters of his new contact are being revealed.

The figure in some initial reports appears to be true, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post. McAfee signed a five-year, believed to be worth around $85 million.

Marchand was first to break the news of McAfee and ESPN agreeing to terms for his daily show to join the network. He’s also been conversing with McAfee directly about the matter for months. McAfee previously signed a four-year deal with FanDuel for $120 million.

As far as what this means for McAfee and his show, that’s expected to debut on ESPN in the fall, “we’re hoping that we can help ESPN be the most fantastic it has ever been in our next chapter. We’re taking A LOT of pride in being offered 10 hours a week on ESPN,” said McAfee.

The Pat McAfee Show will remain in its daily spot on YouTube and McAfee will be bringing his entire crew with him to continue in their roles as well. In addition to living on YouTube, the show will also air as part of the network’s daily programing on both ESPN and ESPN+. This move is expected to officially take place in the fall.

Ironically, McAfee, who is taking him away after the birth of his daughter, did not address his move to ESPN during his latest appearance on his show.

McAfee is, of course, no stranger to working with ESPN. He joined the College GameDay crew last season and even hosted his own MegaCasts during selects games throughout the college football season. He also still occasionally shows up on WWE programing and pay-per-views.
