Wolf, a junior left-hander, went 3-1 with a 1.05 ERA in four starts last season. He struck out 27 and walked just five across 25.2 innings. He had a 5.17 ERA in 69.2 innings in 2019 and a 4.07 ERA in 24.1 innings in 2018.

Texas Tech led the Big 12 with four all-conference selections while WVU was tied for second with three. TTU junior Dylan Neuse was selected as the Preseason Player of the Year and Kansas State sophomore Jordan Wicks was picked as the Preseason Pitcher of the Year. Texas claimed the rest of the awards with Mike Antico winning Newcomer of the Year and Tanner Witt Freshman of the Year.
