Geno Smith got the job done once again. Smith was able to lead the Seahawks to another game winning drive in the final seconds, beating the Commanders 29-26 on Sunday.

Smith’s performance also comes after struggling the previous week in a loss to Baltimore. He responded by competing 31 out of 47 passes for a single game career-high 369 yards and two touchdowns. Smith produced 382 yards of offense overall, adding 13 more with his legs.

One of Smith’s highlights was throwing a touchdown pass to Tyler Lockett to break a tie with under four minutes left in the fourth quarter.

The win moves the Seahawks to 6-3 on the season and back into a tie for the top spot in the NFC West. Seattle will have an opportunity to separate themselves in the coming weeks as well. They will meet the Rams in Los Angeles next week and the 49ers to follow.
