Hodge Gives Injury Update on Jenkins, Sylla For WVU Basketball
WVU basketball head coach Ross Hodge gave an update on the progression of sophomore center Mouhamed Sylla and sophomore guard Amir Jenkins in a press conference Wednesday.
According to Hodge, Sylla is a “full participant” after recovering from a finger injury this offseason. Jenkins, however, remains out.
“He missed just a little bit of minimal time with a finger, but he’s been a full participant in practice for the last couple weeks. And as of today, we don’t have anybody that should miss it from an injury standpoint … aside from Amir,” Hodge said.
While Jenkins remains sidelined, Hodge said he is “ahead of schedule” in terms of his recovery in a September press conference.
