Jeff Weimer Gives WVU Another Receiving Threat | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2025 WVU Football Roster.
Jeff Weimer graduated high school in 2018 and made stops at Hartnell College (JUCO) and the City College of San Francisco (JUCO) before catching on with UNLV during the 2022 season.
The 6-foot-2, 211-pound receiver broke out at Idaho State last year, hauling in 75 passes for 1,016 yards and six touchdowns in the Bengals pass-heavy attack. He transferred to the WVU football program this offseason and managed to win a lawsuit against the mighty NCAA in order to gain a final season of eligibility owing to a new rule aiming to give former JUCO athletes an extra chance at the upper levels of the sport.
He joins a Mountaineers’ receiving corps with plenty of talent, and could serve as their third wide receiver depending on which offensive personnel they decide to employ on a given play.
