OL Camden Goforth Enters College Very Optimistic | WVU Football All 105

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

Entering his college career extremely excited and optimistic, Camden Goforth, an offensive lineman out of Tennessee, expressed why he believes in Rich Rodriguez and the future of the WVU football program at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

“I don’t think people realize what’s coming. I’ve seen the quality of athletes being recruited, I’ve talked to the guys that are coming in early. Here’s the common link between all of us, we’re HUNGRY. These guys are WANTING the chance to do something great. Get ready WVU fans, something special is in the works. I’m humbled just to get the opportunity to be a part of this!,” said three-star offensive line prospect Camden Goforth following the conclusion of West Virginia’s 2025 season, a campaign that ended with a 49-0 defeat at the hands of Texas Tech.

And even after committing, Goforth also explained to WV Sports Now why joining WVU was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

“The opportunity there is something I couldn’t pass up. They are building a program to win, plus I will be coached by some of the best coaches in college,” said Goforth, believing in the plan in place to make West Virginia a national contender again.”

Goforth, a center who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 295 pounds, originally committed to Coastal Carolina. At his height, a switch to tackle wouldn’t end up out of the question either.

Goforth also held offers from close to two dozen other collegiate programs including NC State, Liberty, Memphis, Navy and Tulane.
