Treysen Eaglestaff is Signed, Sealed and Delivered to West Virginia

Treysen Eaglestaff has officially landed in West Virginia. Just a couple days after he committed, Eaglestaff is now signed, sealed and delivered as a Mountaineer after inking his transfer to WVU on Tuesday night.
We are happy to have Treysen join the West Virginia basketball program,” said WVU head coach Ross Hodge. “Treysen has the ability to play multiple positions, and his size and skill are a great combination for us. He possesses a passion for improvement and work ethic that will allow him to continue to improve.”

Eaglestaff now gives Ross Hodge his top transfer recruit in his first offseason as WVU’s head coach. To further emphasize the magnitude of landing Eaglestaff, he picked the Mountaineers over BYU, Gonzaga and Washington.
Eaglestaff initially committed to transfer to South Carolina on March 30, but then quickly decided to re-open his recruitment. Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan and UCLA also showed interest in Eaglestaff.
The 6-foot-6, 190-pound guard averaged 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists this year North Dakota during the 2024-25 season. In fact, he scored over 1,300 total points and made 221 three-pointers throughout his three-year career at North Dakota.
Eaglestaff owns a career shooting percentage of 41.6% from the field and 37.1% from three.
