WVU Assistant Visits 2025 3-Star Target Ian Inman

WVU assistant Tom Ostrom was in for 2025 three-star forward Ian Inman on Monday. Inman currently plays at The Woodlands College Park High School in Texas.

Inman, 6-foot-5, included West Virginia in his top five and has a visit scheduled.

“Much appreciation to coach [Tom] Ostrom for coming by to watch me and the squad practice and a great home visit!!,” Inman wrote on X (Twitter).

Inman is also considering Colorado, Colorado State, Louisville and Rice.

The senior forward will visit all five schools as he announced his schedule for the fall.

Rice: Sept. 7-9

Colorado: Sept. 11-13

Colorado State: Sept. 13-15

West Virginia: Sept. 20-22

Louisville: Sept. 28

West Virginia extended an offerย to Inman on July 26, following a conversation with WVU HC Darian DeVries.

Inman has picked up offers from Colorado, Colorado State, George Mason, Northeastern, Rice, Saint Louis, San Jose State, Tulsa, UC Santa Barbara, UMass, West Virginia, Wichita State and others. Inman has visited Rice, Texas Tech and Wichita State so far in his recruitment.

During his sophomore season (2022-23), Inman averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

In recent news, 2025 three-star guard Jaylon Dean-Vines announced his commitment to Vanderbilt following a visit. Dean-Vines included WVU in his top list.
