WVU basketball is in the top three considered schools for Texas A&M junior guard Josh Holloway, per Sam Keyser in a post to X.

A day after it was reported about Holloway receiving interest from WVU, the connection between player and school has intensified. Holloway has now included West Virginia in his top three along with Memphis and USC. He will also visit WVU on Wednesday.

The list excluded Butler, San Diego and Ole Miss, who initially were showing interest in Holloway.

Holloway, listed at 6-foot-1 and 178 pounds, averaged 4.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game last season with the Aggies in 34 games played with zero starts. He averaged 13.5 minutes per game.

Butler, Memphis, Ole Miss, San Diego and USC are also interested in Holloway.
