MORGANTOWN, W.Va – After discussing West Virginia’s increased injury list stemming from their bad night in Lubbock, Texas, head coach Neal Brown did have one piece of positivity to report health wise for his team.

WVU cornerback Charles Woods, who returned to action against Texas Tech after being out since being carted off the field in the Backyard Brawl, is likely to play this Saturday when the Mountaineers face TCU. Brown did clarify that by saying he feels Woods will be good to go, but his status does depend on how practice goes this week.

Asti: What if Charles Woods was Healthy All Season?

The indication of Woods playing may even come as somewhat of a surprise due to the veteran having had surgery on his ankle in the middle of this season. What type of role Woods will have and what kind of impact can be expected from him remains unknown.
