The announcement WVU football fans wait for around this time every year is here. West Virginia will hold its annual Gold-Blue spring game on Saturday, April 27 at Milan Puskar Stadium.

More information about the exact kickoff time and other details will be revealed in the coming weeks. The spring game will conclude WVU’s series of spring practices.

West Virginia will begin spring drills and practices on Tuesday, March 25. WVU head coach Neal Brown and his Mountaineers are looking to continue climbing after a successful 2023 season. Brown’s team finished with an 8-4 record in the regular season and then capped off the year by defeating North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

While the roster did endure losing some notable players, most notably Zach Frazier, Beanie Bishop and Doug Nester, who are all pursing the NFL, Brown and his staff were able to retain the key assets needed to reach even greater heights in 2024.
