WVU Football Showing Interest in 2026 Arkansas WR Commit
While looking at recruits committed to schools with coaching vacancies, a wide receiver currently headed to Arkansas stood out to the WVU football staff.
West Virginia offered Blair Irvin III, attempting to steal him away from the Razorbacks. Irvin revealed his WVU offer on social media two days after announcing his recruitment back open.
After committing to Arkansas in June, Sam Pittman’s firing has now led to the 6-foot-1, 180-pound three-star prospect to consider other options.
A 2026 product out of Bentonville, Ark., Irvin is ranked as a top 20 player in his state and among the top 250 wide outs in the country by 247 Sports.
Through Week 9, Irvin recorded 35 receptions for 550 yards and seven touchdowns during his senior season.
Prior to committing to Arkansas, Irvin had notable offers on the table from Kansas State, Minnesota, Purdue, UNLV and several others.
