WVU Lands Commitment From 2023 OL Johnny Williams IV

On Tuesday afternoon, West Virginia landed a commitment from 2023 OL Johnny Williams IV. Williams is a 3-star from Macon, GA.
Williams is the fifth commitment in the last four days for Neal Brown and his coaching staff.

Williams (6-foot-7, 315-pounds) was offered by West Virginia in May of 2021 and visited Morgantown last week along with many of other WVU recruits.
The Georgia native was offered by Alabama State, Arizona State, Connecticut, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Jackson State, Louisville, Miami (FL), NC State, Oregon and Virginia. WVU Special Teams Coordinator Jeff Koonz and offensive line coach Matt Moore led the recruitment in Williams.
West Virginia now has 17 commits for the class of 2023, ranking 15th in the country according to 247Sports.
