The Hula Bowl, which will take place on Jan. 13, offers draft hopeful the chance to showcase themselves in front of scouts and other NFL personnel. In recent years, there have been people at events like this affiliated with other professional leagues like the USFL and XFL (those leagues are now combined into the UFL) and even the WWE.
After speculation he would declare for the NFL Draft after the 2022 season, Nester returned for one final year as a Mountaineer in 2023. He had to fight fight through an injury, but was still a key member of WVU’s strong offensive line.
