WVU Women’s Basketball Releases Non-Conference Schedule

West Virginia’s women’s basketball team released their non-conference schedule on Tuesday. This will be the first set of games in new head coach Dawn Plitzuweit’s tenure.

“Our young ladies have been working hard on and off the court throughout the course of this summer,” Plitzuweit said. “Now, we are excited to announce the 2022-23 non-conference schedule, which allows us to play several early-season games in front of Mountaineer Nation.

The schedule is highlighted by the Cancun Challenge, a trip to State College in December, and the West Palm Beach Invitational. Those matchups will be announced at a later date.

West Virginia will face Fairmont State in an exhibition game on Oct. 30 in Morgantown.
