Erik Stevenson Joins WVU Legends with 23-Plus Points in Last 5 Games

WVU guard Erik Stevenson joins Hot Rod Hundley, Jerry West, Rod Thorn and Will Robinson as one of five Mountaineers in history to score 23-plus points in five straight games. Stevenson is coming off his 27-point performance against Kansas State over the weekend.

In his last five games, Stevenson has scored 27, 23, 23, 23 and 27 points in his respective games. The Lacey, Wa. native is averaging 24.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals on 47 percent shooting from the field, 43 percent from three and 85 percent from the free-throw line.

Stevenson was selected to the All-Big 12 Third Team on Sunday night by the conference. Stevenson will lead WVU to Kansas City this week for the Big 12 Conference Tournament. West Virginia and Texas Tech will matchup in the first round on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ESPNU/+.
