WVU Basketball Releases Non-Conference Schedule for 2024-25

On Tuesday morning, WVU basketball released their full non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Mountaineers are entering year one with head coach Darian DeVries and a new-look roster.

The schedule is highlighted by the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, the Backyard Brawl and the Big East-Big 12 Battle. Let’s take a look at the full non-conference schedule.

vs. Charleston: Oct. 18 — 7 p.m. (exhibition)

vs. Robert Morris: Nov. 4 — 7 p.m.

vs. UMass: Nov. 8

@ Pitt: Nov. 15

vs. Iona: Nov. 20

Battle 4 Atlantis: Nov. 27-29**

vs. Georgetown: Dec. 6 (Big East-Big 12 Battle)

vs. NC Central: Dec. 10

vs. Bethune-Cookman: Dec. 14

vs. Mercyhurst: Dec. 22

**Battle 4 Atlantis field consists of Arizona, Davidson, Gonzaga, Indiana, Louisville, Oklahoma and Providence

The Big 12 has announced conference matchups for next season but has not released dates and times yet.

The Mountaineers will play each team once while playing five opponents for a second time, as the Big 12 moves to a 20-game league slate.

Home AND Away: BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, TCU, Utah

Home ONLY: Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, UCF

Away ONLY: Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech
