Still hot on the recruiting trail, the WVU football stall will get a a crack at a Big Ten starting safety with a visit scheduled.

West Virginia is set to be among the first Power Four schools to host Iowa safety Koen Entringer, according to a report by Allen Trieu of 247 Sports. After wrapping up a visit at Louisville, Entringer will meet with the WVU staff and tour the facility in Morgantown.

Entringer also has Big 12 champion Texas Tech on his calendar.

The 6-foot-1, 211-pound Entringer is expected to draw heavy interest based on his experience as a start in the Big Ten. After spending a redshirt year and a couple seasons as a depth piece, he was promoted to a starting role in 2025. At strong safety, Entringer totaled 73 tackles, four pass deflected, 3.5 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble.

A product of Walled Lake Western High School in Michigan, Entringer ended up picking the Hawkeyes over offers from Boston College, Central Michigan, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Temple, Tulane, Utah, Vanderbilt and many others.
